Lindsey M. Pence, D.V.M., Practice Owner

Dr. Lindsey Pence grew up in Greentown, IN., and graduated from Eastern High School along with her husband. She received a Bachelor's degree from Colorado State University in 2010, and then graduated from Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2014. After earning her DVM, Lindsey completed an equine internship in Fort Wayne, IN.  She then moved back to the Greentown area and began practicing small animal medicine.

Fun Fact

Greentown Animal Hospital was actually the first vet clinic she ever set foot in! For a middle school Vet Explorer's fun education night!

Scott Emch, D.V.M.

Dr. Emch graduated from Purdue University in 1989. Scott is a relief veterinarian and comes to our hospital once a month. Scott lives in the Indianapolis area and we are very grateful for the services he has been able to provide to us and our patients. He is a highly qualified veterinarian who shares his gifts not only with us, but with those in the Indianapolis area as well.


Fun Fact

Owns his own practice, Cicero Veterinary Clinic in Cicero, Indiana. Also, owner of Well Pets since 1990.

He goes by Dr. Scott, trying to pronounce his last name is a bit difficult!

Lisa McKinney, Veterinary Technical Assistant

Lisa works as a full time veterinary technical assistant to our veterinarians. She has been with us since May of 2010. She brings with her over 20 years of experience in the veterinary field.

Regan O'Neal, R.V.T.

Regan works as a part time veterinary technician to the veterinarians. Shegraduated from the International Business College in 2018 and started working with our hospital in 2020. She has 2 fur babies at babies at home to keep her busy in her down time!

New Grandma to her beautiful grandbabies!

Loves to camp, swim and spend much needed family time with game nights!

Tiffani Sterling, Veterinary Assistant


Tiffani works full time as an assistant to the veterinarians. She started working at the clinic in January of 2015. She is a graduate of The Vet Tech Institute in Fort Wayne. She has two pets at home; Sophie and Athena, who keep her on her toes all the time!


Fun Fact

She started job shadowing at our hospital her senior year in High School, did her Externiship from college with us and was working with us after graduating Tech school!

Just had her first child in July 2021, a little boy!

Leah Butler, Receptionist


Leah works as our full-time receptionist at our veterinary hospital. She started working at the clinic in September of 2020. Her furry family members include Simon the Chihuahua, Archer the Pomeranian, Chance the Pit Bull, SIX cats (Bella, Zelda, Nasa, Nova, Finan, and Ivy), two rabbits (Willow & Willow Jr.), and two Betta fish (Hades & Poseidon).

Fun Fact

Leah graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University with a bachelor's degree in voice. She is currently pursueing a degree in dental hygiene.

She loves to garden and make catnip tea for her cats!

Kerri Griffin, Owner/Operator of County Line K-9

Kerri worked in our hospital from August of 1997 to December 2014. Kerri is the owner/operator of County Line K9, an obedience and behavior modification facility. Having graduated from Golden Paws Grooming School she has added this service to her business.  Visit her website here!

Athena Steele, RVT

Athena works as a part time veterinary technician to the veterinarians. Athena has been a Registered Veterinary Technician since graduating in Oregon from Portland Community College in 2006 and has been working in the veterinary field (in two different states!) for over 20 years. Always one with a passion for animals, her original goal was to be a jockey. At 8 years old when she surpassed the height restrictions, she soon set her sights on working in the veterinary field. Now she lives in Greentown with a small smorgasbord of animals, both two and four legged. Athena is new to the clinic but brings a wealth of experience in caring for your pets. 

Fun Fact

Grew up moving around due to a father in the military, but considers Oregon her original home.

Runs Half Marathons for fun. Don't worry, she's only half crazy!

Emily Shinn, Receptionist

Emily works as our part-time receptionist for our veterinary hospital. She started working for the clinic in September 2020. When she's not at work, she runs her own farm, consisting of Chickens, Ducks, Turkeys, Rabbits, 2 Goats, 1 Pig, 2 Dogs and a cat!

Fun Fact

She enjoys Bowfishing with her husband.
She's travelled to Ireland. Her favorite part was getting to see some of her heritage including Castle Ward!
She loves to bake-especially good ole fasioned chocolate chip cookies!
